I was diagnosed July of 1997 and I've been living with HIV more than 20 years.
Stigma is a big part of the reasoning behind people not coming into the doctor’s offices. When you have stigma you have shame, you have isolation and you have depression.
I met so many phenomenal women around the world that have been living with HIV from like ‘92.
I had a bright light moment that I could flourish, and I could be like them.
We have a meaningful impact that we bring to the community.
We've been silent too long. We need to make sure that individuals stay healthy and know their status.
I feel amazing today.
When I go and get my labs they let me know each and every time that I'm still undetectable and that my CD4 count is doing well.
I believe that you can win regardless of a diagnosis.
